Features Of Nonwoven Fabric

Features Of Nonwoven Fabric
Nonwoven fabric is 100% recyclable. Nonwoven fabric is reinforced by heat-sealing and are made from fibres thus enhancing softness to touch. Nonwoven fabric is lighter than polyester and nylon but is still far stronger and sturdier than both. Nonwoven fabric fibre has excellent chemical resistance from corrosion so its physical properties are not affected by any chemicals or solvents. Nonwoven fabric is made from hydrophobic polypropylene materials, making it water repellent, machine washable and also has an excellent air permeability. Nonwoven fabric complies with FDA regulations, contains no toxic materials, no odour and does not cause allergy to human skin.

Some of the Plastic Facts: 1. Annually 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are used worldwide. 2. Only 3% of plastic bags are recyclable and rest end up in landfill wastes, ocean debris, and as litter around the streets. 3. Due to plastic debris in oceans almost 75% of sea-turtles become dead in 2002. 4. The landfill and litter waste takes up to 1000 years before decomposition and up to this they release toxic material to the soil.
